5.0 out of 5 stars Turkish Engraved Finger Cymbals 23 May 2013
By Keith Nathan Albrecht - Published on Amazon.com

Keith Albrecht- Though traditionally used in belly dancing, these beautifully wound brass finger cymbals are phenomenal, Tuned to two octaves B flat, they are suitable for musical arrangements (best suited for acoustic) hold their pitch for 6-8 seconds and can cue and end prayer passages. Superior product, cheap and affordable.Add another star if you like engraved things.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not engraved 24 Aug 2012

I ordered these cymbals because I wanted some with some character and not just plain smooth looking ones. The picture and description both show engraved cymbals. The ones I received were not engraved but just plain gold cymbals. This is false advertising and I'm very disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely set of finger cymbals 8 Sep 2011

These zills are lovely and come in a set of four (two for each hand). They have a lovely engraved design and a clear, bell-like tone. They are also sturdy and should last a long, long time. The elastic loops will stretch to accomodated all finger sizes. I thought they were a GREAT buy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking, nice sound. 22 Dec 2010
By Paul Ferguson - Published on Amazon.com

I bought these finger cymbals to use in a 20 member choir. We had two girls using them while singing. The volume was perfect and the chime was nice and clear. They look very nice too. The only downside would probably be the elastic. Quality is fine and should hold up, but the bands are a little thin, and one of them came a little tight, so I got a complaint from one of the girls that they were uncomfortable. All that was needed was to untie the knot in the elastic and retie it a little looser. I'd give 5 stars if the bands were a little wider, but it's a nitpick.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty sound but... 15 Sep 2013
By Andy - Published on Amazon.com

They have a very pleasant sounding ring to them and they look pretty... but they are a bit heavy and the round elastic slips about on my fingers while I'm trying to use them. I'm also annoyed by the fact that the mail service delivered them to the wrong address and somebody opened up the package before putting it back in the mail... though I suppose that is USPS fault and not the seller's....
