I've used many digital cameras in my time, but this I have to say is a great bit of kit.
Very similar to the F401 that preceeded it, the F410 takes very high quality shots indoor and out. The difference is a slight increase in resolution and a change from smart media cards to XP cards. It must be noted that this is presently a little used media compared to many others, and those looking for seperate card readers wil have to look hard to find one that is compatible. However, if purchased with the fantastic USB cradle, transferal of your images is quick and your battery gets topped up too. Incidentally, battery life is very good even when using the LCD screen. I got three days use and over 200 pictures in the freezing cold last November during the Welsh Rally!!
The layout of the controls and menus are very user friendly, and the size of the thing is fantastic. I keep it in my inside jacket pocket and it goes almost everywhere with me. Very compact, it often follows me on nights out. Complaints that it doesn't come with a case are minor. I bought a case, but it's rarely in it!
One recommendation though. Get at least an additional 128MB card. The 16MB card won't get you anywhere. Oh yeah, and the Fuji software that it comes with is pretty poor in my view. But none of this is the fault of the camera.
A wonderful camera, stylish and compact. Highly recommended.
