I've had my A330 about a month and am very happy with it. 3.2mp gives excellent quality prints up to A4 size. For beginners just set the camera to auto everything and start clicking. The macro function is great for close ups down to 4 inches. Exposure compensation and white balance can be adjusted manually if required. The 3x Optical Zoom combined with max 1.6x Digital is equivalent to a 184mm lens. Best results are achieved with optical only, zoom equivalent to 114mm. One negative is the 16MB card which is pretty pathetic and will only hold 10 to 33 images, depending on the quality setting. A 128MB card will give capacity of 84 - 275 images. The camera is well made and quite heavy and the menus are intuitive and easy to get used to. If you have a 'Pictbridge' capable printer, you can print without using a PC. Overall, a quality camera at a reasonable price with enough features to keep most people happy.

I bought this camera because I need a good reasonable quality camera for a good reasonable price. I've got to say that I made a good choice. The camera has a lightweight but professional feel making this excellent for travelling and every piece of mechanism is logically placed.
The zoom is 3x optical and 1.2x digital which allows for really close up shots. The manual exposure adjustments like shutter speed, can be a little bit tricky to get your head around, especially if this is your first "real" camera (like this was for me) but it's not too impossible. The miniature digital screen doesn't always get colour matching and details spot on which can lead to a few nasty surprises when you upload to the computer. However, all the on-screen instructions make sense and are easy to understand. And, just in case you do get confused, the manual is very clear and explains everything expertly.
However, one problem I have with this camera is that the display suddenly "blacks out" for no reason. I think it's something to do with leaving the camera out of action for too long but it does take a little while to recover which can be scary if you don't know what's going on!
I would definitely recommend this camera to anybody who is fond of photography and would like a good quality camera without the overrated price tag.

This is a nice little camera.I got it for a bargain price under of £80 and so far no trouble at all. I didn't expect professional photos but took pictures in a moving train and some are really good quality. Its easy to use functions and has no problems uploading photos. Use rechargable AA batteries without much difference in performance

Fantastic camera - Highly recommended
My Missus bought one for us, I wasn't too sure about as it was too cheap - It's very easy to use and produces beautiful crystal clear images even at 1mp 10/10
