I read Michael's blog,so I was interested in reading his novel. It was good, moved at good pace. A few of the characters could have been a little more developed, but overall I enjoyed the book. Hopefully he will write another one!

A fast moving crime thriller, jogging through in Mid Sussex, who would have thought!
Let the Americanisms pass you by, then enjoy the plot. I enjoyed following the action through familiar places, (although if I was in a rush to get from Burgess Hill to Horsham then I would have taken the shortcut through Warninglid, not all the way through Cowfold!)

I couldn't put this book down. The book is a great mix of super-hero nostalgia, fast paced action ... a bit of Bridget Jones and a good dose of Carl Hiaasen.

This book was reviewed in my local paper as it takes place round my locality. It was great fun pounding the streets with the heroine around places I know well. The Americanisms are irritating -our protagonist is supposed to be English and wouldn't use some of the expressions the author uses. Amusing storyline and I'd certainly recommend anyone from the horsham area to read it!
I hope the author composes more about this protagonist but gets someone English to help him edit it before it goes into print.

This is a very different book to Mike's previous writings - which frankly were about himself - though it is equally as enjoyable, and moves along at a good pace and gets to the action with no time wasted. This is, as far as I am aware the first novel Mike has written, and if so then he deserves the praise and I look forward to more from him. I heartily recommend this book.

I keep promising myself I won't download anymore self/vanity published books, but then I think this might be the good one, good story, good grammar, good spelling! I found the writing style very boring and the story ridiculous. Maybe, if I had persevered past the third chapter, things might have become more interesting - but life is too short. Hint to the author: I think the hairpins he referred to as 'curly grips' should have been 'Kirby grips'.
