Nikki's guide to season 1 & 2 was a fantastic read and now with a separate book for season 3 she sticks very much to the same great formula.
Each episode has a quick run down of important points, interesting facts, co-incidences and highlights things that may have snuck under your radar. It also highlights where the numbers are used, translates Sun/Jin's Korean conversations that aren't subtitled, highlights production mishaps and inconsistencies. It's great to have a book that is both praising and showing niggles too.
The book also explains references to books, quotes and stories that are mentioned in show and explains other things such as The Lost Experience.
Nikki's informative, has opinions and has a very keen eye for detail and that's what makes this book such a great read. I've found myself now going back and watching season 3 looking out for things she's found and that's reason enough for the book alone.

I bought these books in search of something I didn't already know,but I was very dissapointed in that. What's more,there are a lot of mistakes in there and some assumptions that are just not right. And I'm really not interested in what an author finds annoying on a show.(Nitpicks)
It's a handy summary,but for a devoted fan it's nothing new.

Nikki Stafford has done it again!A must read for devoted losties.Again Nikki covers ground that you may have missed first time round.I intend to watch the third series armed with this book next to me.Well done Nikki.Already looking forward to the fourth series and reading finding lost season four.
