This is a book about a dog called Lubber who loses his home. He teams up with a pigeon, a cat and another dog and tries to find it, but all he remembers about it is a white horse, made of chalk, set in the side of a hill. I think this great and I recommend it to anyone!

I read this book when I was much younger and again a few months ago and it hasn't lost it's brilliance, even now! It's about Lubber a lazy but kind hearted dog and squintum the quick-witted siamese cat who travel across the country in search of Lubber's home. A truly amzing book well worth a read.
