This book ~ this book got me through final fantasy X where I have never completed a single Final Fantasy game before. It is beautifully layed out and high quality, a piece of artwork in it's own right XD. It has the solution to every puzzle you can think of, and points out those you never even *did* think about, allowing you to realise the real Final Fantasy X experience. Cleverly written it gives away nothing of the storyline, not a glimmer of a spoiler anywhere, meaning that you are left determined to carry on this spectacular game in order to find out what happens next.
The most useful thing about this book I think is the secret aeons and dark aeons advice and guide, as well as the celestrial weapons which (otherwise) i woud have had no clue about at all! Also,the lists of monsters for the monster arena, overdrive techniques, and stragedy guide for boss fights (detailing boss weaknesses, likely attacks, recomeneded weapons and armour and handly white magic spells.... etc) So basicaly... everything about this guide is great buy it ~ if you want the full experience of this great game! (without it ~ you'll miss all the fun parts!)

This book has everything you'll need to master the challenges of FFX. The 228 page guide features:
- Basics chapter to get you going quickly and easily.
- Characters chapter telling you all you need to know about each person featured in the game.
- A walkthrough with informatoin on bosses and areas, as well as exactally what to do where.
- 38 pages of fiend information.
- How to master Blitzball.
- Information on all the secret items and locations available.
Along with much more.

the book has everything that you need in order to complete the game 100%.it has a bit of background on the charactors and aeons.a bit on blitzball and the sphere grid.the reviews by others say that it deos'nt have rikku's mix table at all but it deos have a bit.then it geos into the walkthrough which is explained very well(especilly the damn cloister of trials) and it includes maps which is very heipful in finding the items.and then there is the secrets section which shows the weapons and armour for each person,beastery,blitzball,dark aeons,and finally the battle arena in the calm lands although it deos'nt go into enough info. but it's enough to get and defeat the creatures.GET THE BOOK IT RULES.

Final Fantasy X official Strategy Guide
I bought this guide as a present. The teenager in question loved it and has since told me that it has helped them alot. Was well worth the money.
