Book Description

If you're new to Final Dawn, be sure to read  Final Dawn: Season 1 first! Containing the first five episodes of the Final Dawn saga, Season 1 is a must-read for any post-apocalyptic fan.

When the end of the world arrived, it came not with a bang, as most expected, but with more of a "pfft" instead.

Humanity has been torn asunder and brought to the edge of total annihilation in less than an hour. For those who died, it was a quick death, so fast that their brains didn't have time to process the pain signals from their nerves. For those who survived, the true horror is about to begin as they struggle to not only stay alive, but find out what happened to bring such a quick end to the world as they knew it.

Following the success of episodes 1-5 (contained in a convenient format in Final Dawn: Season 1), Final Dawn: Episode 6 continues the story right where it left off, taking you through the journey of four of the survivors: Leonard McComb, Marcus Warden, Nancy Sims and Rachel Walsh.

Final Dawn will continue to be released in a short, inexpensive episodic format, with a minimum of 1-2 issues coming out each month. A total of 5-7 episodes will constitute each 'Season' of Final Dawn, and at the end of each season, a single book with all the episodes from that season will be released in both Kindle and paperback format. Season 1 concludes with Episode 5, and a single-volume collection of Season 1 is now available by searching the Amazon store for 'final dawn season 1'. A total of 3-4 seasons are planned, with 5-7 episodes each.

(If you don't have a Kindle device, no sweat! You can read Kindle eBooks like Final Dawn on your iDevice, Android device and even your computer!)

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the bestg Apocalyptic Books I've ever read 18 Feb. 2013

First things first.

If a book, or in this case an e-book, cover catches my eye then I'll most likely get it and then enjoy reading it. That works 95% of the time for me.

Second: I never give 'reviews' of books like the 'professionals' do. I hate reading reviews and when I make an exception I immediately regret it. They get paid for their opinions and while those opinions are not mine, I respect their right to have those opinions.

I tell future readers what think of a book and leave the rest up to you.

This series is perhaps one of the best I've read in this genre. The approach is quite different and enlightening and unique, as well.

The first couple of "Episodes" give background to the characters and their 'lives' and goes from there. They get in situations that sound familiar and could quite possibly happen if (sic: when) something like this is to happen. Once you get into the Fifth Episode then more is revealed and it'll surprise the hell outta you.

I know that it was that way for me.

I honestly don't know how Mr. Kraus came up with this idea, but I applaud him for his imagination as well as his inovation.

I would place this writer up in the ranks of Clive Cussler, Andy McDermott, Barry Eisler and even Stephen Baxter.

He's that good!!!!

Buy the series!

Read the series!!

You will not be disappointed at all and you will enjoy each and every one of them.
