Although this lens adapter is plastic, I have had no problems with attachment or filter threading and have given this 5 stars as great value for money.

I bought this adapter to use with a X1.5 supplementary lens I had used previously with my G2 camera. The adapter is not sufficiently long to accommodate the lens. I bought a 58mm "skylight" filter and removed the glass, fitting the ring between the adapter and the lens. I am now able to use the supplementary lens, and anything else I wish to use, with my new G12. An excellent economic way to extend the use of accessories from a previous camera.

this is NOT a lens adapter, its a filter adapter. for 58mm filters its OK, but you wont be able to use 50mm lenses on it.
