On the whole I found this rather disappointing. It is neither a phrasebook, nor a basic introduction to teh labguage, but a mongrel child of neither. Instead of introducing you to some important and useful phrases it tries to give you an introduction to the language and grammar. This is a nice idea, but unfortunately it doesn't work as the introduction doesn't have any structure or organisation, it just rambles. In the end it is just confusing.
Some phrases appear later in the book, but they don't seem to be in any logical order. How about greetings first, then useful phrases at a hotel, that would be better.
The printing and graphics are nice. The pronunciation guide is good and it is a nice handy pocket size. It's a pity that the content doesn't match the production.
