better than expected

Great training product, one of the most user friendly ones I've seen on the market! Had no problems getting it work on my computer. Presentations were easy to follow and examples were clear and understandable. This was especially helpful since I am new to computers and Filemaker.

DVD-R disk didn't play on my Mac.

Bought this item from the author and got it quickly (it's nice to live in California sometimes!). I received a burned, not manufactured, DVD in a professionally-printed case, which is okay in most circumstances. However, the disk wouldn't mount on my Mac Pro, so I couldn't play any of the lessons. I did get it to run on a Windows PC nearby, so the problem may be that my Mac's DVD drive just didn't like this particular disk.
I asked the seller to send me a replacement disk, and haven't heard back yet (less than a week later). For other potential buyers, be aware that a DVD that's burned will not last forever; some may lose their data in as little as a few years, making the disk unreadable. Manufactured disks do not have this problem. If you want to refer to this information later, it may not be there for you.
