Fighting Cancer is the most comprehensive and approachable book I have read about cancer treatment. Jonathan Chamberlain wrote this book as a result of his wife's experience with cancer. His criticisms of orthodox treatments are carefully weighed and he provides very good reasons why many alternative treatments can be effective. He supports his book with a website. Just type in `fightingcancer.com' and your search engine should find it.

He wrote the book for three possible audiences 1, people with cancer 2, people caring for people with cancer and 3. the general public who are still largely unaware that their chances of getting cancer are now 1 in 2.

This book is a truly excellent introduction to the whole world of cancer - orthodox (reasons for being wary) and alternative treatments (a context and approach for making the decision to go alternative) and it also takes a look at the area of cancer politics and research. This is a book people should read before they get cancer as well as when they learn about it.
