Product Description

Synopsis

Do you know the rules that parking attendants should follow when they issue a ticket? Did you know that if the police fail to record a check of their speed testing equipment, you could escape a penalty? This Kit can help if you want to know how to dispute a range of motoring offences, and what your chances of success are. It will alert you to those offences that you can fight without the need for specialist legal help and the more serious ones for which professional advice is always necessary. Either way, this Kit explains the procedures involved and how to maximise your chances of success. Guidance Manual covers: How the courts deal with; motoring offences; Parking penalties and legitimate grounds for complaint; Speeding offences and technical defences; Alcohol-related offences and correct police procedures; Careless and dangerous driving offences; Miscellaneous offences, such as mobile phone use and car tax; and Official motoring bodies and organisations. It also includes a procedural flowchart for disputing a parking ticket and preparing your successful defence.

If you have a speeding ticket - dont bother buying this book. All it tells you is how to respond to the police. There's no fight in this book !

5.0 out of 5 stars Law abiders read on!, 10 Jun 2009
By JE Moore (Suffolk UK) - See all my reviews

Very useful advice on the law relating to motoring offences. You may not get off a summons but it has a helpful guide on mitigation. It highlights many technical aspects which must be satisfied for a prosecution to succeed and you can review your case against the booklet to see if you have an 'out'. But if noone speeded or parked on double yellow lines, income tax would have to go up.
