Product Description

Product Description

This has been the best selling and most popular of all the Fifty Shades Parody books. For good reason. It's hilarious. Reid Mockery was the first to tap into the unlimited humor potential of EL James' books. To prove his talent is no fluke, Mockery released a sequel that was just as funny and is about to publish the third and final book.

If there was ever a book worthy of a parody, it's Fifty Shades of Grey. In Book One the laughs come hard and frequent. (No pun intended) If you read the real book, you will be delighted with this light hearted alternate version.

The lead character is Annis Thesia. She's not that great looking, terribly naive and has fallen hard for Bobby Beige, Pittsburg's most eligible billionaire. The comic sexual exploits of this bizarre relationship will keep you going as you dive into the wild world of kinky sex with two total idiots.

Unlike others, this parody stands on it’s own as a quick-reading fun little romp. While based on the best-selling trilogy, it has it’s own unique wickedness, sense of humor and dialogue. It doesn't matter if you loved or hated the original Fifty Shades books, this will amuse you and you won't have to think very hard.

Warning: It does contain some foul language and very weird sex acts. This is seriously messed up while being very funny. This is a full 35,000 word mini-novel, that can be read in a few hours. It may actually make you murmur.

3.0 out of 5 stars pretty amusing if you've read shades of grey 7 Jun 2012
By T-bone
Format:Kindle Edition
Well, I don't normally read these parody type books, but after being tricked by the hype to give 50 shades of grey a try I had an "oh screw it" moment and downloaded 50 shades of beige.
I did find this book quite amusing, it certainly made me laugh in places, and raised several smiles in addition.
This book, in the beginning at least, follows the plot of S0G quite closely and was very amusing. The emphasis of certain themes was different in this parody but still closely mimicked the original.
Mid way through however, this book (beige) takes a turn for the outright bizarre, and parts were just utterly surreal.
I think if you have read shades of grey, and found yourself wondering quite how it has become the bestseller that it has, and shook your head at some of the repetitive phrases and general incidents of strangeness then this will really amuse you.
However, if you are easily offended, or you thought that fifty shades of grey was, like, the best, like, book ever, you probably will want to give this one a miss.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well done Reid Mockery it sure is! 28 Jun 2012
By Anon Reviewer TOP 500 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition
This is a genius behind the pisstake of Fifty Shades of Grey the INTRO alone at the start is so funny the chapters overview, and their bizarre headers names that you probably WON'T find inside lol i.e one late chapter simply named " Sex in A Prius"!

The authors intro advisory note is something along these lines

"This is a parody of the wildy popular series of books by EL James .It is not a book for readers who are easily offended. This work, like the real book, includes heavy does of profanity and contains scenes that are hialrious and also at times disturbing and the acts portrayed in this work are not actually meant to be performed on any other human. So if you do it and hurt yourself or someone else you are somply an idiot and this author or publisher is NOT responsible for your ailment or demise.

This is one of the first parodies to be published mocking the Fifty Shades Trilogy. I am sure many will follow but it is my hope that I have set a high bar for both silliness and humour regarding these truly mystifying books?

Reid Mockery is a writer who is not afraid to poke fun and cash in on someone elses coattail. I apologise for some of the errors they are being corrected so just skim over them. Sit back relax and enjoy this cheap book and when you finish, post a review on Amazon. It can't be as bad as the mixed reviews for the real fifty Shades. Just keep in mind the following: par-o-dy: an immitation of the style of a particular writer ,artist or genre with deliberate exaggeration for comic effect."

And it is served on a dish of satire and quick wit ! Bobby Beige indeed! pfftt LOL

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny - But Like Grey, It Gets Boring Too . 17 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I hated 50 Shades of Grey not because it was rude but because it was badly written , this is very funny but I found my mind wandering when I read it like I did with Grey. It's funny but not worth actually spending money on so borrow it if you can .
