There is no indication of the language being used within the recording of this DVD nor the fact that its main content is more of a travel brochure than that of a Mexican musical concert unlike the London venue, Vienna or Australian venue or Irish venue where the playing of local and classical music is the main content and the language used is that of the country in which the venue is being held. In this DVD the main dialogue is in Dutch with no sub tittles and the Mexican musical content there is, is very limited and thus limitting your enjoyment, this DVD doesnot come up to the standard of previous DVD`s in fact it is a poor replica more of a travel brochure than an Andre Rieu Musical Extravaganda. The reason for my 2 star rating is that there is some music played otherwise I would have classed it as a travel documentary and achievement record to Andre Rieu and nothing to do with a MEXICANA FIESTA.

This is a great DVD - it covers quite a lot of music I had not heard Andre perform before so was definitely worth getting to add to my Rieu collection.

What a DVD!!! I've been a huge fan of André since Forever Vienna came out but this one is truly something special. You get a really fascinating insight into André's life - he seems like such a lovely person! and then the concert from Mexico is so enthusiastic. Brilliant addition to my collection.

If you like to watch people/audiences, then this is the DVD for you. Content extremely poor, bad filming - flash, flash, flash, providing limited viewing of any specific detail unless its the audience which the camera dwells on for eternity and appears to be with the same dozen people. I bought two copies of this DVD as Christmas presents - I'm too embarrassed to give them out - the bin is the best place for them. Previous DVD's have been excellent but this one unfortunately looks like the result of boredom, lack of content and a necessity to produce rather than a will do do well.

The first disc is alright following Andre around but the second disc is disjointed instead of watching a concert it is going backwards and forwards I have twenty of his dvd's and this is the first one I would not recomend

This is a very weird DVD consisting of two discs. One is of fascinating interest to Andre Rieu's ardent fans because it is about an hour of showing how the great man came back from sickness and then the organisation of subsequent concerts. There is a great deal of input from Pierre Rieu who is Andre's son. While this input is mildly interesting I pay to see and hear Anre Rieu not his family. The other disc is more like the normal type of concert but with many breaks in the concert with people making comments, often about how much they like/love Andre The whole concert is disrupted by this nonsense.I dont think that I would have bought this DVD if I had any idea of what it was.I expected a couple of hours or so of the Orchestra but felt distincly short changed

I love Andre's concerts and thought this might be different being in Mexico OH how right I was. It is not a concert as such. It starts with Mexicans in the street chattering in Spanish beween every piece of music we go back to the Mexicans chattering. plus Andre himself being interviewed in Dutch. It is so annoying I had to turn it off because there is no continuation. I will not be watching it again. I put Forever Vienna on to cheer me up.

My mother had it for this christmas as a present, she was very disapointed with it compared with andres other dvds. it was to much documentary and not a lot of the concert,my mother wished it had said on the information what it was on the discs ( ie what pieces of music was being played on the discs), and she only wished that his complamentry was in various languages (ie english) and not in subtitles and keep reading subtitles you loose concentration of the musicial dvd.
