I read the Spanish version of Campos de Castilla many years ago when doing A level. I want to read it with a sixth form group I teach as an extra curricular activity. This book will save them hours of trying to translate. They see the English on one side of the double page and the Spanish on the other. The translations are beautiful and do Antonio Machado's poetry justice. I can't wait to read the epic 'La Tierra de Alvargonzález' with my group. Hopefully, they'll compare the Spanish and English and it will improve their language work. It will also teach them about the differences in landscape between Castilla and Andalucía The book is in beautiful condition for a used item. A real bargain. I wish I'd found it years ago.
