5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive, compact field manual 1 Dec 2012
By Tom Deetz - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Well organized, good maps, recommendations for 'hot spots', and included less common species and vagrants not found in other manuals.
3.0 out of 5 stars A useful little guide 17 Mar 2013
By Andrew Paterson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Whilst this undoubtedly a useful little guide and that while the text will be correct, I must admit that I am not totally enamoured of guides that use photographs as I always think that illustrations can shows aspects not available in one photo, especially where there exists the possibility of a variety of plumages (sex and age differences in particular). It will be put to the test next year.
