the best for Nepal 22 April 2010
By Stephen
Format:Paperback
After visting the Bird fair at Rutland Water I found that out of all the bird guides that cover Nepal this was the best. The artwork is very good and each species is covered with Adult Male / Female and Juvenile plumages . I have only 2 problems with this book. First there are no maps so its hard to tell where each species can be found it does give you the height at which each species can be found and at what time of year. The other problem is it only covers Nepal so if you are going to either China or India you will have to buy another book.

Birds of Nepal 17 April 2012
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Having just participated in a group visit to Nepal where this was the main field guide used the general opinion was its OK apart from the confusing page numbering system for the plates. This is not always obvious and at times unhelpful
