Product Description

Product Description

A CliffsNotes-type guidebook for less seasoned Hitchcock fans to an understanding of "The Birds" that draws from recognized scholarship of the director's techniques, the author's scene-by-scene interpretations and comparisons with the short story by Daphne du Maurier that was the premise for the movie. This is intended for those who have already seen the film and want to experience it again and possibly see aspects they did not notice before.

Interesting but not overly exciting story about the making of The Birds. I love the movie and wanted some behind the sceens and it worked there, but was a little light on info.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing new here... 26 Dec 2013
By Les Asmussen - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
So much has been written about "The Birds" that this essay really has nothing new to say.
Interesting enough, but if you're expecting anything you haven't read elsewhere, don't bother.
