Product Description
Fiddle Time Runners with CD is a second book of easy pieces for violin using finger patterns 0-12-3-4 and 0-1-2-34. It includes traditional tunes and pieces and original material, plus plenty of duets. The CD provides performances of all the pieces to act as an accompaniment and backing. The violin is clear for the player to follow and play along to, and we've added assorted percussion and bass and drumkit for the jazz numbers. A volume of straightforward piano accompaniments is available separately.

My young daughter has been following the Fiddle time set of books since she started learning the violin. The songs take her to the next step of learning without the jump being too large. The songs are lively enough to keep her interested.Fiddle Time Runners with CD

My 7 yo daughter found this book very enjoyable. The pieces are varied in terms of style and technical difficulty. Some of the songs are quite upbeat, and are tunes you can dance along with. It definitely made violin learning much more intersting for her. The CD is very useful for helping a learner to start off, and for a learner to check that their timing and intonation are correct. I think it is a great book for ABRSM grade 1-2.

Beware this doesnt come with the CD
The book is fine but it was a bit misleading as the book doesnt come with the CD but was sent quickly.

Great book
A great book with catch tunes that my children have loved to play and practice. I have subsequently bought Fiddle Time Sprinters which is equally as good. Can't go wrong with this.

Plenty of fun
I'm enjoying using this book and getting through it fairly quickly. Most of the tunes are suitable for adult learners as well as children.
