Feynman 101 6 Sep 2011
Format:Hardcover
This graphic-biography of QED's great populariser is a wonderfully frantic crash-course of Feynman's life. Flitting from scene to scene and anecdote to anecdote whilst still maintaining some sort of linear timeline, exposes the reader to the wealth of humour, intelligence, and wisdom that Feynman exuded throughout his life. The graphic novel format lends the biography an incredibly approachable nature, allowing the narrator's (Feynman's) flights of fancy come vividly alive. Furthermore, an excellent further reading section towards the back of the novel gives Feynman rookies an excellent distillation of the wealth of literature surrounding the extraordinary man.

One thing that did disappoint me is that there was rather little of any actual science - it seems a little peripheral and rushed. However, I can imagine that another complete graphic novel (or library) could be devoted to QED - and what is included is explained to a high enough standard to grab and sustain the reader's interest.

QED for dummies 15 Jan 2012
By P. Rö
Format:Hardcover
You don't have to be a physicist to like this book, but most likely it will make wan't to lear more about physics. The novel tells the story of Richard Feynman and espescially focuses on how he developed the QED theory. It sounds boring, but it isn't. If you liked "Logicomix" you probably will enjoy "Feynman".

Great 10 Nov 2011
By Duncan
Format:Hardcover
I bought this book as a present for Christmas and I know it'll be appreciated, the level of physics will please any physics student (its for a physics student), yet it is still readable by anyone who only has the very basics grasps of physics. It is a stunning autobiography with amazing graphics, pretty much every page being in full colour.

RECOMMEND.
Well worth the money.
