Ultrasound Transmission Gel (250 ml) Transound ultrasound transmission gel for diagnostic and therapeutic medical ultrasound. Recommended for all procedures where a viscous gel is required, including Ultrasonic diagnosis, Ultrasonic therapy, ECG, EEG, EMG, Defibrillation etc. Why Do I Need Ultrasound Gel? Applying a layer of ultrasound coupling gel between the Doppler sensor and tummy can ensure a clear signal for detecting the fetal heart beat. Doppler sound waves do not travel easily through the air and so without the use of coupling gel, high interference prevents a clearly audible sound.

i got this together with my heart monitor when i was pregnant. the gel is good and price is not too bad. but as time went on i didnt tend to use it anymore as i found out that baby oil works the same way. i guess it's good for when you are in the early days of pregnancie as it picks the signal up a bit more than with normal baby oil.
overall a good product

This is a gel which helps with a ultrasound machine and does so well. I don't think there is much difference in gel's so I would buy which every is cheapest. Just to note, and I don't know why, all ultrasound gels seem to be very cold. I found this funny when helping my wife and listening to my baby's heart beat.

Last for ages. Delivery was quick too
