Zita West is an acupunturist, nutritionist and midwife with her own Harley Street fertility practice. She has developed her own Zita West products, and her clients include Cate Blanchett, Davina McCall, Ulrika Jonson and Kate Winslet. Zita has been a midwifery expert on GMTV, Open House and This Morning and currently writes a weekly column in Prima Baby magazine. Zita lives in London.

This is the most comprehensive book on conception and fertility I have ever come across. With this book, you don't need other books. It is super easy to read, beautifully presented (lots of photos) and packed with practical tips and great information that works! This is a must-have for all couples who want to have the big picture but also want the practical information that no one talks about! Zita West is a bright light in what could be a very complicated world of fertility... she keeps it simple and guides you through the process. In short, the book covers all you wanted to know but didn't even think to ask. Her knowledge on alternative medicine and western medicine is vast and knows how to weave the two worlds when it's necessary in a seamless way. The books leaves no stone unturned as it covers all areas of the conception and fertility process... whether you decide to conceive naturally or IVF etc. Her book will bring greater confidence to all couples who embark in this journey and assist them in focusing on what really matters! Here's to Zita!!!

An interesting read for anyone who is moving toward the babies phase of life. It's easy to navigate and hence is easy to dip in and out of depending on what you want out of it. From statistics on your liklihood to get pregnant in the first 3 months of trying, to what vitamins to take and what to do if you don't succeed as quickly as you want to. An informative book that's accessible to all.

I love this book, it's easy to read and explains both men and womens fertility to them in a comprehensive but simple to understand fashion. I particularly like the way that 'trying to conceive' is broken down into a four week plan, allowing you to guage the best nutrients for each stage of your cycle. I felt prepared and positive after reading the book, and I know I'll be dipping into this everyday. Highly recommended.
