Product Description

Getting pregnant and ensuring that your baby has the best start in life requires careful planning, which needs to start well in advance of conception. Containing advice on every facet of preconception care, this book shows you how to safeguard your reproductive health, explains how conception works and helps you interpret your fertility signals to increase your chances of conceiving. It provides information on the optimum diet, including all the essential vitamins and minerals, how to adopt the healthiest possible lifestyle as you prepare for pregnancy, and, finally, counsels on what to do if pregnancy isn't happening soon enough. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

I found this book very imformative and easy to read, and it answers all those silly little questions about conception and fertility that some other books don't address.
Having read another book on this subject before this one, I found this very book re-assuring, instead of focusing on all the things that could be wrong, it gives a positive outlook on achieving a pregnancy and it has people's own stories which are very encouraging!
I would recommend this book to anyone that is planning to try for a baby, or for someone who is doing so at the moment with little success!

My husband and I finally decided after 4 years of marriage to start trying for a baby. I came off the pill after several years and thought it would just happen over night.Of course in reality things aren't so simple. It took 11 months for my periods to return and after several doctor's appointments and scans to check all was well, I decided to take the positive approach and get to know my own body by buying a Fertility book. How glad I was when the following month I discovered that I was pregnant! A simple and very informative guide to your own fertility. Thanks!

We found this a very clear and practical book. It helps you understand how the whole process works and explains the things you can do to help.
It is very comprehensive and I think very reassuring, I would certainly recommend it for everyone thinking of starting a family.
