About the Author
Annie has written 39 books to date, been commended for the Carnegie Medal, won the Nottingham Children's Book Award and also the Portsmouth Children's Book Award. One of her other titles has recently had the film rights purchased by Rocket Pictures (an offshoot of the Disney Corporation). Annie lives on the Norfolk / Suffolk border with her two nutty cats, she writes children's books because of her love for them as a child! This is Carl's first picture book commission; he recently graduated from art school. He currently lives in Wales.
