5.0 out of 5 stars A gorgeous autumnal book, perfect for the winter term as the nights draw in., 5 Sep 2008

This is a gentle story of a fox who worries as his favourite tree loses its leaves with the changing seasons. The language is rich and descriptive and the real strength of this book is the enchanting pictures, an appealing little fox, pretty blended autumnal colours changing into the cooler bluer shades of winter and the final page: a glittery delight, a magical icicle finale. Beautiful.
