Chessmaster 9000 for mac has the best tutorial from beginner to advanced ever made available on mac before. If you are a chess player this is a must have game.

Great game 7 May 2012

I've only recently got into chess, and realising that anybody with even a small amount of skill could beat me easily made me want to learn a little more. The "Classroom" feature on the game is great, just made my way through the beginner levels and already noticing a difference. Nice enough interface, glad I bought it.

Don't have a PC so can't compare with Fritz etc, but if you have a Mac I think this is probably the best option!
