Product Description

A book for cats and cat lovers which tells you how to make sure you live somewhere with good Feng Shui.

Feng Shui for Cats tells you all you need to know about making sure that Ch’i flows happily through your territory, bringing you good luck.

Bad feng shui can lead to misfortunes such as infrequent feeding, lack of respect from human cohabitees and the like. Good feng shui, on the other paw, can generate a safe, comfortable territory with plentiful food supplies. It can even get the central heating turned up by several notches.

To create good feng shui in your territory you will need all your cunning and wits about you. By following the advice in Feng Shui for Cats you will be able to create a harmonious territory full of warmth, comfort and good food.

From the Back Cover

Everyone knows (and if they don’t they need to be told) that we cats have to have the right environment in which to thrive. Unfortunately there are often various problems that get in the way (these are called humans). This book is all about how to get around these problems using the ancient Chinese art of feng shui. If your territory is too small, too cold, too dark, or – worst of all – if it does not have enough food in it, feng shui has the answer. Follow the basic principles given here (it’s probably best to keep this book out of sight) and you will be the cat who knows where it’s at.

Fed up with humans organising your nine lives and shoving your litter tray in the coldest, most cramped corner of the kitchen? Bored with fending off the amorous attentions of neighbouring tomcats or chasing that elusive mouse? Then this book is purr – fect for you.

Written especially for cats, this entertaining guide will help you to organise your humans using the ancient Chinese art of feng shui. The basic principles will show you how to manipulate your humans into maximising the ch’i energy in your environment. The results will be astonishing – a warm, comfortable, and harmonious territory will be yours to enjoy!

The four authors live in the small village of Ambrook in England with Roni Jay (who has amused herself by editing this book). Their territory has excellent feng shui, although the cats have all, regrettably, been n**tered, probably due to the fact that the northeast corner of the house is missing.

If Cats Could Read... 8 Mar 2008
By gladyr - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
This is a funny, silly, tastefully illustrated hardcover book that's supposed to be a how-to addressed to cats and made to appear as if it was written by a cat itself (using phrases like "on the other paw..." and the like). For the human reader, its intention is to provide insights on understanding their pets better and create an ideal environment for them, using the principles of feng shui. It thoroughly covers all aspects of the cat's life from health, raising kittens, dealing with humans, feeding, play and sex.

Cats, of course, know exactly what they need. They don't have the dexterity for decorating, though, thus still need humans to arrange the furniture and stuff. Besides, humans think that the place is theirs, when in fact, it's not. And for that, it gives the cat reader tips to show the human its rightful place in the scheme of things by taking control of their environment. Like how they can get their food bowl to the wealth area by completely refusing to eat until it is moved to where they want it to be.

Kidding aside, while the book is not intended to give serious information, it is perfect for the reader who's familiar with his cat's behavior and like all cat owners, is attempting to make sense of the pet's haughty nature. The human author (credited as an "editor" of the fictional cat authors) attempts to uncover the cat's enigma by putting himself in its shoes while having a good laugh over it. Of course if cats could really read, it would probably be shaking its head at the hopelessness of human beings and eye them with pity.

Perfect for bathroom reading, especially with a cat impulsively scratching your leg.
