I agree wholeheartedly with the comment in the synopsis - "once you've started you won't want to put it down". Although it became obvious whodunit quite early in the book, the plot remained gripping till the end. The setting of the majority of the action in The Lake District meant a trip down memory lane and should appeal to anyone who has spent holidays in that area. I look forward to a sequel before too long.

Absolutely superb!!!. Many night's sleep lost due to the fact I just had to read that bit more each time I tried to put it down. Gripping from start to finish and brilliantly researched (I actually live in the lakes), it certainly gets a massive thumb's up from me. Highly recommended 5 stars!!

Fairly exciting plot taking place in God's country but a totally unbelievable main character (don't want to give anything away but the potential affair was never going to happen given his relationship with his wife) and too many coincidences meant a very disappointing read that is NOT recommended
