Feliway Feline Facial Pheromone Spray 60ml
Feliway is an artificial version of the felinefacial pheromones, used by cats for marking territory as safe and secure. When cats feel safe and comfortable in an environment, they rub their heads and faces on furniture or another prominent object, from the side of the chin to the base of the ear, leaving their pheromone (scent) marks on the object in question. The scent marks left naturally convey a message well-being and a feeling of safety.
By mimicking the cat's natural facial pheromones, the Feliway spray creates a feeling of comfort, familiarity and security in the cat's environment.
For this reason, Feliway is highly recommended to help provide cats with comfort and reassurance if they are in distress, or while they cope with a situation which may cause them to become distressed.
Controls unwanted behaviours such as:
- Inappropriate toileting (urinating, territory marking)
- Scratching furniture
- Stress and anxiety
Situations such as the following, can cause your cat to become distressed:
- Moving house
- Car journeys
- Veterinary visits
Tip!
Spray all corners of the pet carrier or travel cage half an hour before travelling.
In catteries, spray should be applied to all corners of the run daily.

I'm looking after my daughters cat Ted for three months. Ted is 8 years old. We have two cats and Ted was really upset when he arrived, you could see a haunted look in his eyes. Then he started spraying. Took Ted to the vet who suggested Feliway. I sprayed the areas where Ted had sprayed and onto all three cats bedding. Ted's a different cat and is now coming to the telly each evening to sit on my knee. Fantastic stuff and i'm toying with the idea of the plug-in version.

This spray definitely did the trick for our cats. Six hour drive with two cats in their cat crates due to a house move and they settled down brilliantly. All we did was spray the Feliway around in their crates both the night before and around half an hour before they went into their crates prior to the journey and that was it! We had been dreading the drive as previously the cats had not travelled well. Then the vet recommended Feliway to us and we read up about it. Excellent product!

Seems to make some improvement in the cat's behaviour, although not completely curing the problem of "spraying"
