Cutting Blade - Top quality, high carbon steel, precision hardened and hollow ground with wire cutting notch. Easily replaceable as not riveted.
Anvil Blade - All in one forged alloy handle and anvil blade.
Sap Groove - Prevents Blades sticking together.
Bearing and Bolt - Tempered and ground, preventing blade spread and guaranteeing a long working life.
Rubber Cushion Stop - Prevents wrist jarring.
Handles - Forged in high strength light aluminium alloy, with disticntive Felco red covering for comfortable grip.
Spring - Easily replaceable , high quality chrome plated volute spring, for consistent tension.
Safety Catch - To keep secateurs safely closed when not in use.
Self serving key - To set blade adjustment mechanism.

I have heavily overused my Felco secateur for more than two years now, and I am very impressed. It easily cuts through everything, and I mean cuts, not crushes through most branches and twigs, even old dried ones. Several other secateurs crushes fragile branches like roses and others, but this one cuts through clean and fine. This somehow has to do with the way the edge are shaped, and the blades move against eachother. Just perfect. I confess having used it on heavier jobs than it is intended to manage, where I obviously should have brought my saw instead. This tool is very forgiving, and has never given up.
This secateur will fit both small and large hands, and gives me a perfect controllable grip.
Every part is changeable, even if I havent done this yet. But nice just in case. Highly recommended tool!

Can't go wrong with Felco secateurs. With regular sharpening, cleaning & lubrication they will last a life-time. Well worth the money.

As a gardener by profession I can honestly say that purchasing a pair of Felco secateurs is very worthwhile. Whilst they may look the same as any other they are in fact so much better. They just feel more positive to use and simply last much much longer than cheaper versions so they work out good value (especially on Amazon) in the end especially if you maintain and look after them well i.e. sharpen the blade, tighten and oil occasionally

Recommended
Was tired of buying cheaper models and them breaking after a few weeks. So hopefully these will last me a good while as one can replace all parts if they break.

craftmanship
Made with craftmanship, priced accordingly but worth it. With replaceable blade and springs readily available and a little maintenance these should last a lifetime.
