Having made it to number one, their cover of "The Tide Is High" (a song made famous by Blondie) can't be argued with. But compared to the original it remains decidedly flat, lacking the punch that made the earlier version a timeless classic. The album's high point is most definitely the title track, written for the Kittens by none other than Kylie Minogue; it is typical pop-diva material with a disco class and fat rhythm section that will undoubtedly make it a camp anthem for the latter half of 2002. If you had to predict a Radio Two hit it could well be the mid-tempo, faux-80s ballad "Love Doesn't Have To Hurt". With its soft and cuddly acoustic guitar and so-happy-to-be-in-love type of chorus it could well be a strong contender for post-Christmas number one. To summarise the album, none of it's bad, but not much is great either just somewhere in the middle. --David Trueman

My favourite songs are:Tide is High,Walking on Water,Its Ok,None loves you(Like I love you), The last goodbye
It would be hardly surprising if that were the case, as it was "Whole Again" which kick started their commercial success, and to a large degree they have certainly gone down that route with this, their second album. There are several slow ballads ("No-one Loves You", "Love Doesn't Have To Hurt") and many mid-tempo tracks ("Walking on the Water", "The Last Goodbye") which are actually all very good, but thank goodness they put in a few more livelier ones too to show that they are not going to stop producing songs of the fabulous "Right Now" Mould.
The highlights are definitely "Softer The Touch", which really should have been the next single, "So Hot", "Love Won't Wait" and the title track, "Feels So Good".
Overall, its a good album and definitely a good buy, but you probably wont spin it so many times as their classic first album, which had a lot more attitude. Let's hope they get back to their disco bunny ways in the singles chart soon.
