5.0 out of 5 stars Clear, concise and to the point, 28 Nov 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Feeling Good: Proven Tools for Lifelong Happiness (Things That Really Matter) (Paperback)
This is one of the best self help books I have ever read. I was a little taken aback when it arrived at the size of it - it is little more than a notebook. That, however, is the beauty of it. It is clear, concise and to the point. It is full of straightforward and easy to understand suggestions and exercises. If I had to make one criticism it would be that there aren't enough real case studies.

I feel like buying a copy for all the miserable moaners I know who just seem determined to take a bleak outlook on whatever happens to them! But of course, people have to discover for themselves that being happy really is better than being miserable. So maybe I'll leave copies of the book in tube carriages, or in charity bookshops, or cafes to try to speed up the process ...

An easy read, full of practical tools for happiness. Quite a small book too, so on a down day I can carry it round with me a read a couple of pages if I feel a melancholy thought coming on. Happiness as a state of mind is managed moment to moment, and this book is certainly a useful tool.
