This collection is absolutely brilliant, I can listen to it over and over again without getting tired of it. It's been the staple feature on my mp3 player over the past year and a half and is great to run to. The songs are mixed really well together: RnB to 80s rock, to those really familiar songs you know, it's just a masterpiece! Sometimes you just want to punch the air in a fit of joy when a great mix is playing. I really can't praise this album enough...

Not sure I can find the words to describe Feed the Animals. But I'll try.

Right from Play Your Part (Pt. 1) you're head is nodding. Shut the Club Down has you on your feet sharpish. A little sit down and a chill during Still Here before the phat Beastie Boys beat gets you up again for What's It All About. Set it Off does what it says on the tin. No Pause has the head nodding and gives everyone time to pull themselves together before Like This explodes in. Give Me a Beat is a rollercoaster. Hands in the Air delivers as promised. In Step manages to mash things together that shouldn't work and will bring a smile to your face if Nirvana sits in your album collection. Let Me See You keeps things ticking before Here's the Thing rocks you. Don't Stop and Play Your Part (PT. 2) make sure you finish on a high.

Dance album of the year? Quite. Simply. Brilliant.

Girl Talk's 4th album does little to mess with the successful formula developed on 2006's Night Ripper: take 2 parts filthy rap vocals, 2 parts pop/rock/alternative/indie hooks and riffs, mix well and serve over a bed of hard hitting beats and scores of samples that you just can't quite recognise. So far, so 2 many DJs - and in truth Girl Talk doesn't do anything that we haven't seen before. But what he does so successfully is keep the whole mash-up fresh, fun and dosed with a heavy pop-sensibility. Where 2 Many DJs go dance, Girl Talk keeps the hooks and rhymes flowing and before you know it Jay-Z is rapping over Avril Lavigne and Toni Basil, or Kanye is rhyming over Radiohead. The energy is infectious, the production is superb, and the end result is an insanely good mash-up mix-tape.

The only note of caution I would sound is that you should be aware that that "Explicit" tag is there for a reason, and there is a lot (and I mean a lot) of both swearing and sexual references).
