CD Description

The name of the band speaks volumes about their music. The emotional depth of their compositions can only be compared to the size of an ocean. Oceansize is currently one of the most innovative bands and they appeal to the ever growing need of music lovers to look beyond formatted three minute pop songs.

Described as 'progressive death indie' Oceansize were founded in Manchester in 1998 and from the beginning their compositions were uncompromising and daring. After releasing 3 full length albums and an EP to critical acclaim, Oceansize turned their heads back to the roots of the band - and played in full, each of their highly sought after album's back to back, over three consecutive nights on home turf in Manchester.

Documented here in a lavish 7 disc box set, are 3 DVD's and 4 CD's that will immortalise those 3 historic & unforgettable nights forever. Limited to only 5000 copies worldwide, Feed to Feed is soon to become a highly prized collector's item.

amazing 1 Oct 2009
Format:DVD
this contains a DVD version and a CD version of their live anniversary performance, and it's pretty amazing. well edited, audio sounds great, very nice packaging as well.

one of the best bang for your buck purchases of a media format i've made, there are live versions of all three of their albums (which are unreal) reproduced with oceansize's massive live maelstrom, as well as their EP Music for Nurses (pretty good too) which is basically a half length concept album.

for some reason they performed I Haven't Been The Claw for Ages, which is alright, but i personally would have rather heard Superfluous to Requirements (a lot of people seem to hail this as one of their best songs) with that said though it's such a minuscule complaint it's barely worth mentioning.

Glorious 22 Nov 2009

3 DVDs and 4 CDs in an exquisitely packaged box. Every album played in it's entirety with the 'Music for Nurses EP' as encores. Seriously...what's not to like?

I missed out on these gigs as the tickets flew out on release, so I'm really pleased (as always) that they have released this rather excellent package.

If I had to pick, I'd say the 'EIP' night was best, however, there are gems all over the place. The sound quality of the DVDs is superb. Very clear and nice separation. Yeah, you can say what you like about Vennart's live vocal - personally, I couldn't care less if he isn't perfect because the passion of the music more than makes up for it.

Honest and sometimes brutal, Oceansize are massive.... shame the world hasn't had the opportunities I have to see this band in action over the last 10 years.

Excellent stuff lads! Signs us up!

MIND BLOWING 31 Oct 2009
Format:DVD
This box set is freaking awesome. Three DVDs and four CDs in which Oceansize performs almost all of their songs, what else can you ask for? All the music this band creates is beautiful, and the way they perform each of their songs in this shows is jaw dropping. Watching how Oceansize can afford to play such complex music in a way so close to perfection is really price less. All the instruments, specially the drums (Now I am sure that Mark is my favorite drummer), are out of this world.
The package also is very cool, everything comes in a very elegant black hard box which bends in four parts. The art is nice, but could be better, thats the only aspect that I think they should improve.
For all of us who are not able to attend to any of their shows (for me until they tour to Mexico) this package is really great.
If you enojoy good music, there is no way you can let pass this box set.
