I think this book is very informative. Very simple to read.It tells you in simple language who God/Jesus really is and what he is really like using scripture as a basis.You will know God as a living God when you have read this book. There is no highfluting language. Delia Smith is a very down to earth person so is this book. You could read this book at any time and it is helpful to the growth of any person. I have it for ten years and I read it over and over. I give it as a gift to my friends as I feel the book contains wisdom. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Brid

I have previously used Delia Smith's 'Feast for Advent' and found this 'Feast for Lent' equally inspiring, well-written and insightful. Delia's own personal faith and her teaching skills are vital ingredients, together with choice portions of God's Word, and she has cooked up a digestible and beneficial spiritual feast for a season of abstinence.

This is just what I hoped for. A study leading up to Easter that I can use again and again as it will give me something new each year. A lovely text. Thoroughly recommended and I will be buying Delia's Feast for Advent quite soon.
