Synopsis
In the tradition of SHAUN OF THE DEAD, this tongue-in-cheek horror film features a cast of reluctant monster-vanquishers trapped in a bar. The making of the film was the focus of the third season of HBO's PROJECT GREENLIGHT.

4.0 out of 5 stars splatter tastic fun, 9 Oct 2008
Before i say anything i must say this....this film rocks! thats all you need to know! Its your basic plot of people trapped in a bar getting attacked by unknown monsters but its so much fun from start to finish. The captions at the start telling you who the characters are and there rate of survival was a great touch and then it just proceeds to mess with your head and take you on a roller coaster ride of gorey fun. Oh yes the gore and mucus flows thick here and the fast paced nature of the film means it never lags. Great performances all round (with cheeky roles from henry rollins and kevin smith regular jason mewes). If this aint selling it to you heres a short list of what happens - face ripped off, foot shot off, maggot monster puke, monster sex and birth, human battering ram, lucio fulci style eye attack and squished head! This film is funny, gorey and def tongue in cheek and if that aint enough just look for all the homages to the horror movies of old. For fans of horror comedies who dont mind a bit of splatter this is a must!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great film and funny as hell, 7 Oct 2008

Considering the low budget on this film, I have to say its one of the funniest horrors i've seen for quite a while. The one liners are quality and the gore factor is there from start to finish. It reminded me of Shaun of the Dead, Severance, The evil Dead, Cabin Fever and even Dusk till Dawn all rolled into one. The actors hammed it up to make it a classic comedic horror, but don't expect out of this world special effects as this is not the case, but it makes the film more enjoyable !!

I would definately say it is a must have for your collection, especially if you appreciate good comedy horror. Looking forward to the sequel that is apparently being made.

What you see is what you get! It's called Feast, always judge a movie by it's title (except Snakes on a Plane, that was great!). Honestly, it's awful. Read more
