I've got a 6 & 8 year old as it's brilliant to help them reach the next level of their understanding. We've read a few chapters but they love to hear it been read. It's even helped us with our understanding and given us a different insight to the bible - From a Child's point of view.

Simple two page stories short enough to read to groups and easy to adapt for drama/mime with children. I found it useful for a Boys Brigade display item with 5(5 to 8 year old) boys. Having listened to one story on one of two CDs with Sir Cliff Richard reading the story of Loaves and Fishes they then mimed to his reading and I then dramatised it with one boy being narrator and the others acting. A little disappointed with the illustrations though, very 'children's bible style' but with a limited palette has some unrealistic colours eg a purple donkey. Colours aside though an excellent buy with stories and 2 CDs included in price.
We have various Bible Story CDs and books. This is our favourite! The children (aged 4 to 8) love listening to the CDs on their way to school every morning. The stories are beautifully retold in a very accessible way that both the adults and children enjoy.

The children in my class are enjoying this product. They listen quietly whilst Cliff reads the stories and they are special needs so that is quite a testemant.
