I found this very helpful book after being confronted with the question whether to have my own two sons circumcised. It was not a question of being just like Dad, but a genuine wish to get behind all the propoganda and understand whether this simple Operation would benefit the boys. This book strips away the myths, explores the issues and creates an understanding that allows any parent to make a more informed choice. Yes, it would benefit from being updated, but the basic research is still sound and my wife and I have absolutely no regrets we went ahead and had our sons circumcised as a growing number of parents are now doing in the UK. Highly recommended.

Bought this book and its a good read very informative- more info on male circumcision than all of the web site put together,well researched not just scare mongering.

Buy this and seek out a video made by the BBC about infant and male circumcision and youll see why myself and my son are both circumcised.

I found myself in the late part of 95 visiting the gp, sex was becoming more of a pain and less of a pleasure- he recommended me to take a course of anti biotics- i finished the course the pain went away- 3 months later it was back, so talking to a friend he said get yourself circumcised-i eventually plucked up enough nerves to approach our doctor and i was circumcised a few months later sex has been brilliant even better than before, when our 2 sons we born, we decided to get them circumcised - which we did- we stumbled across this book in 99 and bought it and read it from front to back- excellent my only regret was it wasnt available sooner.
