5.0 out of 5 stars Everybodys Doin the Fish!, 24 July 2002
This review is from: Favorite Noise (Audio CD)
If youve only recently discovered reel big fish then this is the album for you.. or if not and you have known reel big fish for a while then why dont you have this CD? This is a great album for all music fans, even my punk hating sister likes it. The great thing about this CD is the variety of instruments used, Theres Trumpets, Trumbones, Saxaohones, Bongos, Organs, even a bit of scratching. All on top of the great guitar skills of Aaron Barett. No matter how your feeling this album will cheer you up, the highlights of the CD are the very catchy "The Kids Dont Like it", "Trendy", with its funny lyrics, the allways great "Sellout", which is definately Reel Big Fish's very best song, and also "She's Famous Now" and the classic "Beer".

This Album is worth having just to cheer you up even if you dont like punk.

5.0 out of 5 stars Skankalicious Ska, guaranteed to get you moving..., 28 Mar 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Favorite Noise (Audio CD)
Right, so I bought this CD, in all honesty, just for the hell of it. I'd only heard one Reel big Fish track at some Ska evening sometime, and I'd heard good things about them, but more than anything I needed a new Ska CD to brighten up my collection. And boy did this do the job.

Every single track is either so damn bouncy that you just have to get up and jive, or so laid back that you get the need to kick back and chill out for the length of the track. And the album manages to switch between these 2 styles effortlessly, without letting up on the quality. Seriously, I'm listening to it now and can't stop tapping my feet and am holding back the urge to sing along.

This album is perfect for listening to when you need cheering up, when you need to get a party on its feet or when you just want to listen to some quality Ska. Pick it up and I can guarantee you won't be dissapointed (not actual guuarantee).
