This is a heart-rending British crime and family drama. Its intensity reminds me of the outstanding Cannes winner, The Prophet (France). Father & Son has a wonderful cast, all are excellent especially Dougray Scott as the ex-con father and Reece Noi his son. It is hard to believe that the characters are actually actors: they are so accomplished and believable. Buy it now if you want the very best of British drama! Frank Deasy, Emmy award winner, wrote the brilliant script.

I saw the trailer on ITV 1 but sadly missed the programme, how pleased was I to find that it had been released on DVD. Very good programme Just a shame it was a one off.
