Product Description

Product Description

Steve Martin double bill. In 'Father of the Bride', doting father George Banks' (Martin) world comes tumbling down around his ears when daughter Annie (Kimberly Williams) announces her engagement to boyfriend Bryan. Although initially unable to cope with the thought of his little girl going away and leaving him, George soon sets about making sure that Annie's is the perfect wedding - but it isn't long before the strain begins to take its toll! In the sequel 'Father of the Bride - Part 2', George Banks has now reconciled himself to the fact that Annie is a happily married young woman, but when she informs him that she and Bryan are expecting a baby, a mid-life crisis is triggered off.

Martin Short is really funny, he is great at doing accents. It's a movie the whole family can watch. The whole thing will make you laugh out loud from start to finish. I highly reccomend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars great family film 22 May 2007
I've watched this over and over again, its the kinda of film you dont get tired of watching.

And its great for watching with the family.

Its about George Banks, and his family.

In the first part, He finds out his daughter is engaged and he's not pleased at all, she's his only daughter, and he doesnt want her to marry.

Its touching in places, and amusing in others. The scrapes George get into are amusing.

In the second part, George feels like things are going really well, he has a daughter happily married, a wife he loves, a son in school, Could things get better? Then he finds out not only is his daughter expecting a baby but also his Wife. Again its amusing in places and touching in others.

GREAT FAMILY FILM.
