This fourth volume of the `Fate/stay night' anime contains a further four episodes from the series. The episodes in this volume see Saber recovering from her exertions while defeating Rider and while she is incapacitated Shirou is captured by Ilya.

The episodes in this volume are the best of the series so far with some good battles and some nice advancement of the plot. This volume also reveals the identity and background of Saber while also giving some hints of the identity of Archer. As well as the exciting and interesting parts of the series, episode fourteen `The End of the Ideal' is also surprisingly sad. Overall `Fate/stay night' is turning into a very interesting series.
