The third volume of `Fate/stay night' contains another four episodes of this entertaining anime. The first episode sees Saber fight against the servant Assassin against Shirou's orders and we get a first glimpse of just what she is capable of. The second episode is a bit of a breather as Shirou has Saber teach him to fight and has an odd encounter with Berserkers master Ilya. The final two episodes on this volume see Saber and Shirou fighting Shinji and Rider as the two of them attack the school and put innocent people at risk.
The episodes in this volume are very good and greatly entertaining with some very nice action and some great animation. The glimpses of Saber's true powers are very nice and the reveal of her sword in the final episodes of this volume was brilliantly done. This volume also includes a short five minute extra `Rider's Diary' which is basically Rider's thoughts on her master Shinji as the story goes on and it is extremely funny. This is a very good volume and the `Fate/stay night' anime just keeps getting better.
