Format:Audio CD
This album rates as one of the best of all time in my book. "I Believe", "29 Palms" and "Great Spirit" are classics. The rest of the album is no filler either. There isn't a bad song on this album. These are just a few highlights. From the opening guitar shuffle of "Calling To You" to the riff heavy "Network News", the album is awesome. True, I only bought it for "29 Palms" but was completely blown away by the rest of this gem of an album. The change in styles is also a plus. Not one style of song is repeated through this album, which encapsulates Plant's soaring vocals with an array of musical styles.

I remain amazed that "Greatest Gift" is not widely recognised as one of the greatest trax of all time. When you think of the alleged popularity of Robbie Williams' "Angels", it is enough to make you weep. There's only one Robert of any stature. Planty still demonstrates amazing vocal talent, breadth, freshness and invention with the current Might Rearranger release, which since downloading from iTunes two days ago, I've played 12 times. But Fate of Nations is equally strong as a solo release. There is not a single filler track on this album. Highly recommended for any lover of inspiring, engaging, gut wrenching, heart thumping and brain dazzling music.

This is a superb album and a must buy for any Robert Plant fan,it demonstrates the range, power and subtelty of Robert Plants voice superbly added to which it is without a shadow of doubt his best solo album to date, The track Greatest Gift is one of my all Time favourites.

This is in my opinion Robert Plant's best post Zeppelin album. Best track is The Greatest Gift, but all tracks are good.
