...the first CD was a tad harder than I expected (stupid, I know - but I'm 43 now) but when you get to Everybody Loves a Carnival you remember just what an amazing producer Norman is. I was expecting it to be good, but never 'that' good.

The second CD is perfection for us older folk. I'm glad I got this, it's going to be my soundtrack for my holiday in Almeria.

Fatboy Slim proves time and time again that he has still got it, this isn't just re-hashed crap for the masses to tie in for the World Cup in Brazil, these are tracks clearly chosen after many others have been discarded and include many I've not heard.

A definite thumbs up from this old man!

Was really looking forward to hearing this album - heard a couple of mixes Fatboy did on Radio 1 in the lead up to album release and they had the carnival / Brazilian flavour to them which were great so l was deeply disappointed when l first listened to it to find that the tracks are not mixed. Listened a couple of times again and whilst l cannot fault the tracks l cannot get over the disappointment that is not a mix which would have given the album a much better party vibe hence only 2 stars.

I struggled a bit with this. CD1 is peak time, would be party bangers with a samba vibe. Sounds Ok on paper but I found this lacking light and shade, variety and subtlety. Not sure this would bear many listens and is too banging for my house parties! CD2 is better - and builds through the first few tracks of the mix from a progy Digweed opener into latin flavoured beach vibes before crashing back into club land with Carl Cox. Somehow this is less than the sum of its parts.

the sound of summer 2014 for me - ties in nicely with the world cup and has been in the car cd player for 3 weeks solid.

love it.

Was good for getting in the mood for the World Cup this Summer.
It's gone a bit stale now.
He has better albums.
