Okay, I won't spoil the film plot for you here, you can read the synopsis and watch the film for that. But suffice it to say it is a good story with a basic, easy to follow plot that flows through well to the climax. It does slow down in a couple of scenes, but not enough to break the momentum.

The fight scenes are outstanding. And it takes a lot to stand out from the high quality fight choreography coming out of China and S.E Asia, but this manages to pull it off with style. There are even a few comedy moments and nice touching scenes thrown in too.

Well worth a watch, especially at this price!

I gave 3 stars but I'd consider it about 7 out of 10, though I don't think I could round up this time as the problems stop it being an 8 out of 10 movie. Jacky Ju Wing has been described as the next Jet Li but his rather boyish face renders him unsuitable for many serious roles and he does not have Jet Li's on screen presence or charisma. The martial arts fights in the movie are very good but the plot where he is manipulated by a woman who he takes to be his friend seems to distract, rather than enhance the action and you might wish at the end that they had taken out the fights and transplanted them in to a movie with a better plot. If you want to see him do some amazing fights in a movie with a powerful plot and strong performances you only need to look as far as 'Kill Zone' an excellent new film with Donnie Yuen and Sammo Hung where Wing plays a talented assassin.

"cool fight scenes" 16 Aug 2008
Format:DVD
This is one of the best iv seen there are 7 or 8 wicked fight scenes if you liked dragon tiger gate or flash point you'll like this (but) id recommend the region 1 version if you have a multi-region player.Because as with many martial arts films including the two above region 1 has a choice of (English) language"for lazy people like me" as well as (cantonese) plus for some reason the picture quality is better with panoramic letter box scope which means you see the whole picture without the sides cut off don't know why they do different versions for England and America we speak the same language i got both versions by accident and I'm glad i did or id be none the wiser.
