This is a low key satire of Hollywood, with some over-the top humor thrown in as well. It's not for everyone but give it a try if you think the following is funny: Kirstie Allie yelling at her assistants to remind them to feed her pet lemur.

A quick review as a repost to anyone who's rated this poorly, or who just plain doesn't get it! A real treat seeing Alley playing a heightened version of herself, and if you love 'Curb' you have to love this, it's 'Curb' with a girl ;-)
To the reviewer who loves Alley but hates this, I'm afraid I have news for you, this is very close to the 'real' Alley, and she IS the show, in inspiration, creation & production; so if you don't like this, you really don't like the real Alley!
A breath of fresh, fat air, where else do you hear Hollywood talking about this, is it the best comedy ever, no, but it's a great couple of hours of diverting naughtiness, with a very camp edge. Now where's my Twinky?

I bought this dvd as I had previously enjoyed watching Kirstie Alley in Cheers and Look Who's Talking.
It was funny but there was a few moments that would make you cringe.
I thought this tv show was a brave choice for Kirstie to do as it draws completely on her large size and the problems she comes up against due to that fact.
There was a large number of celebs on it and I wish they had made more episodes as you can't help but like Kirstie and all the mischief she gets herself into.

What went wrong?
I bought this from amazon.com mainly due to my love of Kirsty Alley. Unfortunatly its one of the worst excuses for comedy I've seen in a while. Read more
