This book is truly inspired. Our daughter first discovered it at the library just before she turned two, and we have since bought our own board book copy because it was requested at EVERY bedtime. At 26 months she can now 'read' it herself, which makes her very pleased!

The pictures are bright and bold and the two styles work seamlessly. The rhymes are satisfying and easy and short, so the pages can be turned quickly or slowly. My daughter often likes to go back to particular favourite pages to repeat them!

My 22 month old son and I love this book and I think it will be a favourite for a while. The illustrations are simple but engaging and my son loves to repeat back the key words on each page (above, below, noisy, quiet, bumpy, flat, heavy, light etc.). The words roll off the tongue and are yet to bore me after many readings!

Good book and the child laughs as the naked boy.

we found this book first in an Australian library when my daughter was 17 months, and it was the ONLY book she wanted read to her all week. When we came back I chased it down and still at 21 months she adores this book and asks for it most days. It contains bright happy pictures with rhyming text and concepts little ones understand, like "A lot of clothes, no clothes at all!" Has been a worthwhile purchase for us, I recommend it.
