Product Description

Fast Glass offers a unique look at the world of glass painting, for those painters with lots of ideas, but not enough time. With new techniques especially developed to give fast and easy results, this book is both a boon to the enthusiastic glass painter and a welcome starting point for those new to the craft. Divided into three sections - In An Instant, In An Hour and In An Afternoon - each section contains outlining, painting and decorating techniques, from traditional skills to innovative ideas using new products, plus stylish projects that combine several techniques.

Format:Hardcover
This book is another feather in the caps of Alan Gear and Barry Freestone. Materials, methods and simple tips to make life easy are clearly explained alongside some really inspirational projects with copyright free patterns included at the end of the book. There are also plenty of pictures to show each process. You are even shown how to include other materials in your glass painting, and there is a method for reproducing photographs. When writers love their subject it shows and these two never fail to make you want to follow their example and produce some beautifully decorated items. The book is a pleasure to browse through, but be warned you will want to create every project if you are at all interested in glass painting! For a 'crafter' this is another must for the collection.

A MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHORS 19 Feb 2004
By Mr. B. L. Freestone - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
This book was put together with people in hurry in mind. Although the thrust of the book is glass painting in a hurry, there is no compromise on the quality and ingenuity of the designs - all can be achieved by the beginner and expert alike. Don't miss our new book, The Complete Guide to Stamping published in March 2004. Also, if you have access to broadband internet you can watch our regular TV show, Alan & Barry's Craft Choice on www.createandcraft.tv. Look out for the website where you can get many of the paints and materials used in this book - www.rainbowglass.com
